How it works and why it matters
The Word Counter shows how many words, characters, sentences and paragraphs your text contains. It is useful for school essays with word limits, blog posts with a target length, and social media captions. Reading time is based on an average adult reading speed of about 200 words per minute. The repeated-phrase table shows 2- and 3-word phrases that appear more than once, which helps check keyword repetition in a draft.
