How it works and why it matters

Duplicate lines appear in email lists, keyword lists, product exports and code snippets. This tool keeps the first copy of each line and removes the rest, so your list stays in its original order. Use the case-sensitive option if 'Apple' and 'apple' should be treated as different items.

Questions

Which copy of a duplicate line is kept?

The first one. The order of the remaining lines does not change.

Are empty lines treated as duplicates?

Yes. If there are several blank lines, only the first is kept.

Is my list uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is processed in your browser, so it is safe for private lists.
