Questions
How do I calculate a percentage of a number?
Multiply the number by the percentage and divide by 100. For example, 20% of 150 is 150 x 20 / 100 = 30.
What does a negative percentage change mean?
It means the value went down. For example, going from 80 to 60 is a change of -25%.
Why does the calculator say it cannot divide by zero?
A percentage needs a non-zero base value. Enter a different number as the reference.
